IMS and Converged Networks
Prevantage Corporation actively contributes to organizations that define the standards for internet messaging and the IMS framework. The Global MSF Interoperability 2006 (GMI) event represented the first international, multivendor validation of IMS. By our participation in this event along with many other companies, the long-awaited Next-Generation Network (NGN) is now even closer to full fruition.
The company also contributes to the testing and benchmarking organizations such as SPECsip and SPECmail for messaging and SIP based multi-media communications. To date, Prevantage Fusion holds an un-challenged record for performance and scalability with proven architecture that delivers an open service creative environment for fixed and mobile carriers that need to provide IMS ready solutions.
Prevantage Fusion is the IMS core for the future of carrier network and application delivery strategies. Once a stable standards-based core is in place, carriers can use the platform to run applications and create touch points to any number of external applications such as:
1. Billing
2. HSS (Home Subscriber Server)
3. Provisioning
4. Media servers
